MISSION OF THE POSITION
The Nightclub Medic is a SAFECROWDS ambassador who plays a key role in providing a safe experience for customers. They are excellent communicators and experts in delivering first-class customer service. They are a reassuring presence and are able to adapt to the dynamic and unpredictable nature of nightlife situations which often requiring quick thinking and on-the-spot decisions.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Consistently uphold the highest standards of customer service and safety
- Work closely with the security team and nightclub staff to ensure a coordinated response to incidents while maintaining a safe environment
- Proficient in providing immediate first aid for a range of injuries including cuts, bruises, sprains, and minor burns
- Able to handle medical emergencies such as alcohol intoxication, drug overdoses, cardiac events, seizures, or injuries due to altercations promptly and effectively
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff during emergencies; explaining procedures clearly and calming individuals in distress
- Ensure the availability, functionality, and proper use of medical equipment and supplies required for emergencies or first aid
- Adhere to patient confidentiality standards and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Accurately report incidents, treatments provided, and any necessary information for follow-up or legal purposes
- Report any safeguarding or wellbeing concerns promptly

- You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with other security staff, clients and their customers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Pre-hospital care qualification (FREC3 or equivalent)
